Barrington Mall - Urban Design
The Feasibility Study seeks to develop an open and public strategy while retaining private aspect for the inhabitants of the proposed development. The result is a complex masterplan, which provides maximum fluidity of movement towards the rejuvenated dock. The proposal acknowledges its location between the gateway to Limerick City and the potential marina development linking the two through a series of well proportioned external spaces. The proposal sets the precedence for high quality imaginative development of Limerick’s Barrington mall.
Urban Design - Growth Catalyst
The site is located on the fringe of the cIty in the Docklands Area. In order to create a future vibrant landmark quarter , the scheme seeks to maximise both the existing and latent potentials within the site. The site is to become a catalyst for growth, within the surrounding area by invigorating the existing fabric with new functions.
